The need for Synchronization
This course, the first one of the Sync U program, introduces the student to several key concepts in network synchronization. Starting from a review of timing aspects of digital transmission, the rationale for synchronizing the entire network is discussed; then some important influences that affect the behavior of different systems are introduced.
