Ask Professor Sync is an interactive Question & Answer Forum for network synchronization material. In this section, you can read through a list of questions that have been asked by students and members of the industry, and get immediate answers. You can also ask a question to Professor Sync directly.

Glossary

The Glossary is a compilation of synchronization terms and definitions. There are also some additional definitions for terms in the related areas of networking, computers, and the internet. It is sectioned by letter of the alphabet.

My Student Page

Your Student page is your home portal to Sync University. Always return here to resume a course you have in progress.

Logging out

To ensure that no one else can access your personal information, if you are using a computer that other people besides yourself may have access to, please LOG OUT of Sync University upon leaving your computer. When you log back in, Sync U will direct you to the last page you visited before logging out so that you can continue your studies without interruption.

If you do not log out, your student session will last for 5 hours from the time you logged in. If you spend more than 5 hours taking a course at one time, you may have to log back into the site to restart the timer. Don't worry, you will be automatically returned to the last page you visited by clicking on the resume course button on your home page. Please let us know if you think that the 5 hour time limit is unreasonable.
